Coach Brian is an RRCA Level II Coach, 18x marathoner, and 2x 50-mile Ultra Marathoner committed to helping athletes of all levels discover their potential.

Working Together
Consultation [$55] - Required for all new athletes. This 45-minute video call assesses your running goals, experience, and injury history to ensure a good coaching fit and allows me to create a personalized training plan. It can also address your running questions and provide training guidance.

One-on-One Coaching [$230/4 Weeks] - Achieve your running goals with month-to-month personalized coaching from Coach Brian. Includes a custom TrainingPeaks plan (written every 4 weeks and optimized as needed), and support for everything from mindset, to nutrition, to strength, to race day prep. Unlimited email communication. Consultation required for new athletes.

FAQs
How does coaching work virtually?
Once we decide to work together, you'll receive an invitation to join TrainingPeaks. From there, all your workouts will be uploaded, so you'll never have any questions about what you need to accomplish. Once a workout is completed on your device, it will automatically upload to the platform. Coach Brian will then analyze all your data and provide feedback periodically.
Why should I get a coach over an app or pre-written plan?
Apps and plans give you workouts; Great Day gives you expertise. One-on-one coaching draws on several science-backed methodologies, tailored to your personal needs. With Great Day, we'll amplify your strengths, train your weaknesses, and provide the human support to ensure you love the process. That's something cookie-cutter plans and apps simply can't do.

Why "Great Day"
Like all good ideas, the name "Great Day" came to me on a run. I was training for the NYC Marathon and was visualizing the perfect race day. I imagined lining up at the start feeling confident and hearing the announcer over the loud speaker say, "it's a great day for runners out there!" That's what I wanted for my athletes-- the feeling that their own personal greatness can be found on any given run along with the optimism to go after it.
